Steal Her Style: Julianne Moore At The 2011 Golden Globes
Creating a "modern, romantic look" to complement Julianne Moore's shocking pink Lanvin gown, stylist Gianndrea used Kérastase products to highlight Moore's natural radiant beauty. To recreate the soft style at home, Gianndrea recommends:
- Began by applying Kérastase Volumactive Mousse & Kérastase Nectar Thermique to her wet hair
- This created volume and texture while protecting the hair from the heat of the blow-dryer
- He then parted her hair down the middle to create a modern aesthetic
- Following, he twisted the hair to the side and created a pony/tail twist style
- He finished with Kérastase Elixir Ultime to create a healthy, finish that had a touchable, healthy shine
What did you think of Julianne's look? Is it simple enough for you to try at home?

Steal Her Style: Olivia Wilde At The 2011 Golden Globes

Taking a cue from Olivia Wilde's oversized Marchesa gown, stylist Terry Millet created a look based on "a chic French Girl" look using Kérastase products. To recreate Olivia's look at home, Terry recommends:
- Began by applying Kérastase Volumactive Mousse & Care Kérastase Volumactive to wet hair prior to blowdrying to give texture and volume
- From there, Terry blow dried her hair with his hands, only using a round brush at the ends once almost dried to give the hair a clean, healthy, just washed type of look
- Once the hair was dry, he finished with Kérastase Oléo-Relax Serum on the ends and a veil of Kérastase Double Force Hair Spray for hold
What did you think of Olivia's French-inspired look? Is this something you'll try?

The goal of the hair at Behnaz, according to Ashley Javier, key hairstylist for Kèrastase, was to “create a certain innocence and childlike quality with the hair but also making it graphic and sculptural.” The look was achieved with a braid that began with a deep side part and shaped into an S formation along the scalp. According to Ashley, the braid is not only graphic and urban but has a country feel to it as well that is great for spring and summer and is something that could be useful for traveling as the finished style could last for a week. To create the braid Ashley used the upcoming Elixir Ultime by Kèrastase. I got a sneak peak of the Elixir Ultime that contains 4 refined oils: Maize Oil, Argan Oil, Camellia Oil and Pracaxi Oil. The product can be used on damp or dry hair and adds volume, creates pliability, hold and shine. If there was an ounce of skepticism over hair oil not weighing hair down, it was quickly diminished after Ashley rubbed a small amount of the oil into the palm of his hand asked us to touch the area where the oil had been dispensed. It felt like there was nothing there!

Key nail technician Roxanne Valinotti for CND created a “Halo manicure” that was designed to look like “she removed her nail polish really quick but didn’t make it perfect.” Roxanne used Perfectly Bare Colour, a warm nude opaque nail polish with full coverage, and rimmed it with a Colour called Silver Chrome. Nails were premade for the show in a natural length that were meant to extend slightly beyond the nail tip. To do it at home, Roxanne suggested using some gauze, a cotton pad or anything lint-free to apply the silver polish around the perimeter of the nail to achieve a sponging effect. You could also use an old eyeliner or nail polish brush to get a similar effect.
