A nightly regime is (in my opinion) is the most important aspect of skincare. During the evening hours, you give your skin time to breathe, repair and renew. Of course, if you happen to have some sort of volcanic eruption on your face, it's also a good time to attack it with any remedy necessary.
Tonight, I shared my frustrations on Twitter, and I was blown away by the number of responses I received. It seems this summer weather has everyone's skin in a tizzy, leaving some of you turning to lavender oil, Neosporin, and of course the Clarisonic. For me, I've always turned to tea tree oil when my skin gets a bit rambunctious. After a few rough patches, my skin has been fairly tame, with a few breakouts, but definitely not anyting worth cancelling dates or plans over.
However, when I do get an unruley new friend on my face, I turn to my trusty friend, Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion. Intended for use on whiteheads and pimples, the Drying Lotion is formulated for immediate relief. This tiny bottle (1 oz) might as well contain mystical forces - that is how strongly I feel about it. Don't make the mistake that I did - do not, under any circumstances shake your bottle. I went weeks without understanding why all my friends were head over heels in love, until I actually read the instructions. What a novel idea, huh?
I'm dying to know - how do you tame the unwelcome visitors on your face? Do you have a secret weapon?
