When I received Urban Decay's Rollergirl Nail Kit, I was mesmerized by Woodstock, a neon pink that could almost glow in the dark. As I studied the colors more, Miss T stood out to me, mostly because it reminds me of MAC's Pink Pearl pigment but in nail polish form (and don't think i hadn't tried to DIY this color myself. I did and failed).

I applied Miss T on Sunday with two thick coats, since I'm completely incapable of applying anything else. Generally, I polish my nails with the skills of an uncoordinated four year old - aka slather the polish all over my skin and then use a nail brush it the shower the next morning to scrub it off. Since I applied the healthy top coat of Seche Vite that same day, I haven't touched my nails. In fact, polish is almost as perfect today as it was on the day it was applied. Color me mystified.

Miss T is a special pearlized pink. The kind of shade that shows hints of purple mixed with a strong, feminine pink sizzling with pearl but not in an obnoxious way. This color was clearly created by an expert and is exactly the kind of polish that will distract you as pound away on your keyboard in the midst of spreadsheet Candyland.

The Hall of Fame set introduced me to my new favorite mascara, Skyscraper. Described as a "multi-benefit" mascara, it's designed to widen, lengthen, volumize, seperate and curl, amongst a slew of other descriptors. The black & purple rubberized packaging also makes this mascara incredibly attractive, but what makes it most enticing is the fact that it builds volume like no other. It's a bit of a drier formula that allows each coat to build on top of itself.  Most mascaras add product along the lashline as you add additional coats, but Skyscraper builds along the lashline and along the tips of your lashes, adding additional length with every swipe. If you're they kind of gal who loves big, voluminous lashes, definitely give Skyscraper a chance.

Look at it....just look at it! Urban Decay recruited LA artist Kime Buzzelli to the artwork for this special edition palette.  Described as wickedly fashionable women, these characters inspired the colors chosen for the palette.

Filled with 6 shadows (2 exclusive), a 24/7 eyeliner in Zero and a pefectly sized Primer Potion.  The 2 exclusive shades - Snatch, a peachy pink with a hint of glitter and Painkiller, a vivid turquoise shimmer - are the stars of the palette.  Snatch is my personal favorite to wear all over my lid right now.  It brightens and adds a hint of color wihtout being over powering.

Personally, I'd say pick this amazing set up for yourself, but I won't deny that it makes an excellent gift as well!

Urban Decay Ink for Eyes

Urban Decay's Fall 2009 Collection brings the arrival of a new cream eyeliner, Ink For Eyes.  The liner is available in 6 shades, housed in coffin-like packaging.  Each container includes a mirror & a dual-ended brush (angled & smudger).  After breaking the initial surface of a new liner, the formula hiding below is smooth as it gets.  Not as silky as Stila's Smudge Pots, but significantly more workable than some formulations of MAC's Fluidline.

Zero:  A pretty basic black, with a great sheen.

Loaded: Reminds me of the color of money, a true green that matches the shade sticker on the bottom of the package.

Demolition: This formula feels smoother than any of the other colors and is a true deep brown.

Binge:  A very denim blue that deeps with buildable color

Empire: The only shade I tried with glitter/shimmer.  The addition seemed to change the consistency a bit, but still a smooth application.  A true deep eggplant shade.
