After spending a week running around Lincoln Center for Fashion Week attempting to pretend that it was spring, I just couldn't reach back into my closet for the thick knits or the oversized coats any more. New Yorkers are the most seasonally confused once it begins to hit 50 degrees in the spring. You'll see the widest range of outfits, including everything from Uggs to flip flops and bare legs, so I'd like to think that my look was on the more appropriate side of the scale, but even I was cold. Needless to say, I'm so thrilled that it's finally beginning to warm up in the city, even if our 10 day forecasts are still peppered with 30 degree temperatures, high winds and rain.

By the time last Monday rolled around, I refused to play along with winter's games. In NYC, we hadn't truly had a taste of winter and we were rapidly approaching another fashion week season. I was fed up and concocted an overwhelmingly neon look, including my neon pink Kate Spade bag (love) and (a risky) neon green Sally Hansen set of polish strips.
I know, I know....I've been slacking. In fact, I've been so crazed that there's not currently anything on my nails at this very moment and that rarely ever happens. I guess that's what happens when you work in online retail and it's the holiday season. Absolute mania and pandemonium ensue.

I’m not exactly what you’d call a stranger to Sally Hansen’s line of cosmetics. The
Carmindy, the makeup artist behind "What Not To Wear", is making in-store appearances to support Sally Hansen Natural Beauty. If you're not familiar with the line (or don't know me in person), Sally Hansen Natural Beauty is a paraben-free line inspried by Carmindy.
(click through for the full story) I cannot say enough good things about the Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. As anyone who has recently hung out with me can attest to my passion for these colors. The formula is amazing, the price point is affordable and the color payoff is incredible.
