Nima presented a cohesive collection this season on February 13 in SoHo in time for Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, and neutrals were the name of the game.
The palette was comprised mostly of camel, black, and cream. Ruched leggings completed most of the looks, with hems down over heels, almost to the floor. Two pairs of ski pants were presented as well, with flare hems brushing the floor while the models wore three inch heels.
Tops and jackets were long and lean with v-neck cuts, exposed zipper hardware, and pushed up sleeves. Dresses were either very short or quite long, with hems dramatically asymetrical. There was also a good amount of fur in this collection, ranging from a raccoon coat to a mink dress, always with the ever-present leggings and high platform heels.
Overall the collection was completely wearable, and the few splashes of color certainly popped against the stark neutral canvas.
