By the time last Monday rolled around, I refused to play along with winter's games. In NYC, we hadn't truly had a taste of winter and we were rapidly approaching another fashion week season. I was fed up and concocted an overwhelmingly neon look, including my neon pink Kate Spade bag (love) and (a risky) neon green Sally Hansen set of polish strips.
Sally Hansen's polish strips are an excellent way to get elaborate designs and patterns without paying a fortune, but they're also a great way to get color payoff, especially in the neon category. The neon green I chose is called Groove, but there are several other neons, including yellow, orange and a great pink that you'll have to see to believe.
I'm currently sitting in the lobby of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center and admittedly, neon fever is everywhere. In the front row of Tibi there were at least 5 neon beanies and those darn Cambridge Satchels still persist. If you haven't gotten the neon bug yet, now's the time.
Sally Hansen Polish Strips can be found in almost any drugstore for around $9 per set.
What's currently on YOUR nails?

Frankly, I love a polish strip. There's not a week that I wear them that I don't receive an array of comments from my coworkers, including but not limited to the following:
I know, I know....I've been slacking. In fact, I've been so crazed that there's not currently anything on my nails at this very moment and that rarely ever happens. I guess that's what happens when you work in online retail and it's the holiday season. Absolute mania and pandemonium ensue.
