The folks at Pantene sure know how to please a crowd. Once discontinued products have been back by popular demand (and you thought letting a brand know when your favorite products was pulled from shelves was ineffective). Pantene's Celebrity Stylist Danilo worked with Glee's Dianna Agron for last night's Golden Globes to create a look that was both romantic and glamorous. Danilo's thoughts on the style: “When you style hair for the red carpet you have to take into account that it must look good from every angle,” said Danilo. “I wanted her hair to have the ability to be undone, have movement, and be shiny, but didn’t want her to worry about it all night which is why a half-up style was the perfect choice.” Although she was out the door before he knew it, Danilo thought of the style – “It was very simple, very pretty hair that was clean, contemporary Hollywood glamour.”

To recreate Dianna's look at home, Danilo recommends:

• Start with freshly-washed, towel-dried hair so it’s clean for styling.
• Mist your hair with the Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Heat Protection & Shine Spray for a conditioning base, and then spray the Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Root Lifter Spray Gel on your roots to prep hair for volume on top.
• Blow dry your hair, then use a dollop of the Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm to coat each section of hair before applying heat from the iron.
• Using a medium-to-large curling iron for the glamour set, curl hair down and under before setting to cool.
• Once hair has cooled in the set (10-15 minutes), release the curls and brush through to reveal voluminous waves.
• Lightly spread more of the Smoothing Balm through your waves as needed to clean up the slides and tame fly-aways.
• Part your hair to the side of your preference, smoothing hair back on each side with your fingers, and pin back with your hair pieces.
• Pull the remaining hair forward, shaping hair to appear full out of the hair pieces so the waves fall in front of your shoulders for a soft, elegant look.

Katy Perry was certainly a Firework on the American Music Awards red carpet last night. (Side note - can we talk about how gorgeous her earrings are? They are pink tourmaline and pave diamond earrings from VRAM for GRAY. Love!) Pantene's Celebrity Stylist, Danilo, created Katy's look for the evening.

Danilo says “Her look was classic Hollywood with a contemporary twist. Katy wanted big, voluminous hair for the show. Using the Fine Collection from Pantene, I was able to vamp up her hair to create long lasting volume.” To recreate Katy's look, follow these easy steps:

1. “Before doing any hair style, I always encourage my clients to wash and conditioner their hair—that way I can start with a clean, healthy base. I recommended beginning with the Pantene Pro-V Fine Flat to Volume Shampoo and Conditioning regimen, the customized formula gently cleanses hair to help remove dulling residue and build up while replenishing from root to tip.”
2. “Before blow-drying, I applied a light mist of the Pantene Pro-V Fine Heat Protection & Shine Spray to Katy’s hair. This helps to protect hair against heat while providing a soft, healthy-looking finish.”
