About Style IT
It's your life - style it.
Sounds simple, doesn't it? Having style isn't about spending $900 on the latest it shoe or standing in line to buy the latest piece of technology, only to buy a case that costs more than the device. Don't get me wrong, all of those things are lovely and covetable, but is that how you would like to be identified - by an item with an expiration date?
Style is defined by the choices that we make every day. From the type of eyeliner you apply to the kind of coffee you drink, you are making stylistic choices about your life. Style IT is about making conscious choices, whether you're in the grocery store or in a designer boutique.
Style means something different to everyone, so I asked Twitter followers & a few of my friends what style means to them. Here's what they had to say:
"Style is more about how you wear something than the actual clothing itself. Confidence is stylish." - @Hilly293
"Working with what you've got and werqing it. No trends. No fads. No it looks. Style has got to reflect you." - @TheMadamEditor
About Sarah Conley
Style IT was born in October of 2006 as a creative outlet. While living in Fayetteville, Arkansas there weren't many opportunities to experience real style outside of my close group of friends so I turned to the internet as a way to connect with other dreamers like me. Now I live in Brooklyn, New York and advise fashion and beauty brands on how to best navigate the digital landscape.
I have over five years of experience with brands like David Yurman, Rachel Roy, Nine West, MAC Cosmetics, Diane Von Furstenberg, Vivienne Tam, ideeli and supermodel Chanel Iman. For more on my professional experience, please visit me on LinkedIn.
