I know what you're thinking (especially if you've met me) - Can you really wear no powder products on your face? Until yesterday, I might have answered "No!".

Here's how my morning went down - I overslept by a good 30 minutes and by the time I checked the weather at 8am, Weather.com informed me it was already 80 degrees. Is there any rest for the weary?

As I began to apply my tinted moisturizer (Stila, above), the idea of wearing powder began to be less & less comforting. Once I was done with my tinted moisturizer, I went straight for the blush instead of setting my foundation product with powder. Stila's Convertible Color in Gerbera is Summertime peach perfection. Moving on to the eyes, my only shadow was MAC's shadestick in Copper Penny. Once I blended out the color across my lid, I applied Stila's Smudge Pot in Black Cat as a liner with an angled liner brush. For my lips, I used The Body Shop's Hot Brights Lips & Cheeks in Coral.

Throughout the day I was pleasantly surprised as to how well my makeup was holding up, despite the fact that I was constantly warm & uncomfortable. In fact, my color was impressively in tact once I arrived home around 6:45 pm. As they say, the rest is history.
