Beauty By Beka: Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Forever Stay Eye Pencil
I’m not exactly what you’d call a stranger to Sally Hansen’s line of cosmetics. The Lift & Define Mascara has been a staple in my cupcake-adorned makeup bag for some time. However, it wasn’t until Sarah had really begun to sing the praises of Sally Hansen that my eyelids began to stand up and take notice.
You see, for me, finding just the right eyeliner is a constant struggle. I’ve tried them all – department store brands, drugstore brands, mail order brands – and nothing had the eye-popping color that I coveted. And nothing had the easy glide-on application that my poor, sore eyelids needed.
Enter, Sally Hansen Forever Stay Eye Pencil. Not only is the softest, and most prismatic eyeliner these eyes have ever beheld, but it’s affordable, and foolproof! (Shaky hands-sufferers needn’t worry!)
I’m forever changed, and forever in love with this liner, and so is my makeup bag!

Plus, Dove is introducing a new scent to the Go Fresh family - Burst: a juicy nectarine and white ginger.
The scent is so fruity fresh, you instantly become energized. The best part is that the scent isn't too feminine - my boyfriend has already swiped the deodorant and body splash. That's right, my boyfriend likes to smell like fruit ;).
If you thought the other Go Fresh scents were great, you'll be floored by Burst. Head to your local drugstore, and then come back and let me know how you like it ;).
How To: Get Spring Ready Legs
As I got Spring-ready yesterday, I turned to my favorite no-fail products for looking bare-leg worthy.
Schick Intuition Razor
As much as this might be considered embarrassing, I'm going to admit that I hate shaving. I'm 6'2" and it takes me a heck of a long time to shave these tree trunks, which is exactly why I love the Schick Intuition razor. It makes it quick and easy, without having to worry about shaving cream or razor burn, a few quick swipes and you're done. Perfect for those early morning shaves when you don't have the time or energy to focus. If you haven't tried it yet, make it your first Spring necessity.
ModelCo Airbrush Tan In A Can
I've read a lot of negative things my peers have to say about this product. The truth is, I've had pretty negative experiences with the majority of self tanners on the market. I figured I might as well give this one a shot because I was going to have a tanning disaster any way I went about it. If you use it correctly, Tan In A Can will blow your mind. Here's the trick: Take a shower, exfoliate well, and towel dry. While you're still in the shower, spray a fine mist over your legs and rub it in. When you're done, rinse your shower and wash your hands. Voila! Now you have glowing, bronzed legs.
The PedEgg
Conversely, the PedEgg is everything my peers says it is and more. The trick is to use it on dry feet. That's right folks, completely dry feet. You don't need to soften callouses for this product to work. It thrives off dry, craggy feet. Pedi-perfection!
Lush's Fair Trade Foot Lotion
Not only are you supporting Fair Trade economies, you are getting tingly, well moisturized feet as well when you use this product. Smells like peppermint and soothes with a cooling sensation. It's a win-win, no?
Beth Ditto On What It's Like To Be Fabulous & From Arkansas (like me!)
If you come from Arkansas and have a radical view of life, then you have to have a sense of humor to survive.
BlackbookMag.com InterviewStyle IT Exclusive: Richie Rich Confirms Plus Size Clothing Line For Fall 2009

Repurchase This: Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm
Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
$2.99 by Burt's Bees at Walgreens
I have so many lip balms that I am still using MAC's Lip Conditioner out of the white tub. That's how bad it is. No matter how many lip balms I have, the only one that I swear by is Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. It's amazing, and it actually works. Not to mention that it's available nearly everywhere and smells amazing.
If you only buy one thing that I recommend, let it be this. Best $2.99 you'll spend today.
Earth Day Beauty: Waterpik's Ecoflow Showerhead
Waterpik® Ecoflow Power Spray Chrome Handheld Showerhead
$39.99 by Waterpik at Bed Bath & Beyond
Ever since I moved into my new apartment, my showers have been sucking, to put it bluntly. They take twice as long because the water was flowing out of my shower head with less velocity than a garden hose. When I had the chance to test out a WaterPik Ecoflow Showerhead, I jumped. If an eco-friendly shower head could reduce water waste AND make my shower better, I was ready to sign up.
The Waterpik Ecoflow promises the same shower pressure as a regular shower head, and save up to a gallon of water per minute which could pay for the cost of your shower head within 6 months. in one year, you could save 7,500 gallons of water and $90 just by replacing your shower head.
Was I skeptical? Heck yes. The phrase "Ecoflow" screams "reduced water pressure" to me. I couldn't afford to lose anymore, but I was dying for a change. My super came and installed my Waterpik, and I haven't looked back. Unbelievably, my water pressure actually increased once the shower head was installed. Not only that, I love the upgrade to a handheld shower head, especially if you have poor water pressure. Shampoos and conditioners are more easily rinsed, and you don't have to worry about positioning yourself in the water stream - you determine where you want the water to go, thus making your showering more efficient. Additionally, the shower head has 3 great settings that allow you to adjust the shape and speed of the flow.
On Earth Day 2009, how are you making the world more beautiful?
