Style IT loves Payless shoes. In fact, we're wearing a pair right now. But something seems to have gone amiss at Payless headquarters. While we appreciate Payless branching out into designer collaborations with Abaete and our favorite stylist Pat Field, what the heck happened to paying less?

A prime example is the Abaete For Payless Cabri Zip Boot. We understand Payless should be compensated for higher quality materials, as well as Laura Poretzky should be compensated for her work on the collection. However, when prices for Payless shoes begin climbing into the $70 range, an alarm should be sounding.

True, it would be highly unlikely to purchase a Laura Poretzky designed item for $70, but not completely impossible. We can't forget Bluefly, TJ Maxx and end of season/sample sales.  And sure, these boots are cute, but are they convincing enough for you to fork over $70 of your hard-earned budget fashionista money?

Every fragrance needs an occasion, and the perfect occasion for Diamonds is the office. Not that Diamonds isn't worthy of a nighttime outing, but the fragrance is so subtly sexy and confident it's perfectly suited business lunches and boardrooms.
