As previously mentioned, Gap teamed up with Thakoon, Doo.Ri, and the gals from Rodarte to create collections based entirely on the white shirt. The shirts will debut today, April 17 in larger Gap stores across the US. Gap approached the young designers as an extension of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. "Vogue has a long tradition of supporting young talent — in particular, our local talent — to secure a brilliant future for American fashion. And Gap's Design Editions project…will give a boost to the three CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners, and bring their wonderful designs to a much bigger audience." said Vogue's Editor In Chief Anna Wintour.
