Premiere Of "Vicious Circle" At NY Latino International Film FestivalAmerican designer Marc Bouwer, designer of stylish and high profile evening wear, seems to be feeling a bit...sheepish. In a recent letter to the Prime Minister of Australia, Bouwer criticizes the government's lack of action against the treatment of the sheep within the Australian wool industry. "I recently learned from my friends at PeTA how sheep are treated in Australia and am so appalled that I will be cutting all Australian wool from my future collections." "Your government's failure to take steps toward enforcing an end to these crude practices reflects poorly on Australia's standing as a wool supplier in the global fashion marketplace." Bouwer has dressed Hollywood's leading ladies, including Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Charlize Theron, and Sarah Jessica Parker. View Bouwer's latest collection at MarcBouwer.com.
Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as Timberland have joined the protest.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer last May, Kylie Minogue is making "The Return of the Showgirl" by guest editing Australian Vogue's December issue. "Since my cancer diagnosis, my whole world changed. I have learned and experienced so much about myself and others. It's great to be able to make those first steps back into the life I knew before, the one I know better now." Previous Australian Vogue guest editors include direct Baz Luhrmann and Karl Lagerfeld.
As yet another step in her comeback, Minogue will be launching her fragrance, Darling, with perfume giant Coty just in time for Christmas. "I use 'darling' a lot. My mother calls me darling. I call my friends darling. It's almost so old-fashioned it has come around again. It's sweet, personal, loving and affectionate. It's a term you can use for anyone - it's not just for your lover or your child, you can use it for everybody. And it's a little showbiz."
Kylie adds her fragrance to her budding Kylie Minogue empire, including her Love Kylie lingerie line, available at Love-Kylie.com

"For her, India is the land of exotica and beauty. In fact, her response was: 'I finally get to visit the exotic'. She loves Indian culture and the Indian influence on clothes," he said. Plans are for Paris to visit 5 Indian cities, however the final schedule has not been worked out.
Of course, this follows Hilton's "Stars Are Blind" video being certified in Adult in India.
