Kate Moss classes it up in American Vogue’s August 2008 issue. I’m already feeling the urge to wear trench coats, pointy toe pumps and darker lipstick while inside my house. Once outside, I want to strip down, wear head scarves and complain about the heat. I’m proud to see that stylists are starting to dress Kate Moss age appropriately instead of tarting her up. It’s time we fully embrace our true age, don’t you think?

The Real Top Models
With all the versions of Top Model these days, it can be difficult to remember a time when real top models ruled the world. Fortunately, Forbes has compiled a list of the world's top earning models.

At number one, it's no surprise to see Gisele Bundchen top the list. She has earned an estimated $33 million, and is currently the face of Dolce & Gabbana's latest fragrance.
#2: Kate Moss, $9 million
#3: Heidi Klum, $8 million
#4: Adriana Lima, $6 million
#5: Alessandra Ambrosio, $6 million
#6: Carolyn Murphy, $5 million
#7: Natalia Vodianova, $4.5 million
#8: Karolina Kurkova, $3.5 million
#9: Daria Werbowy, $3.5 million
#10: Gemma Ward, $3 million
#11: Liya Kebede, $2.5 million

Jill Stuart Upset Over Lohan Rehab

Poor young Hollywood. Things don't seem to be going their way these days. Lindsay Lohan shot a campaign for Jill Stuart in Japan, but after her recent antics coupled with a trip to rehab, the Japanese aren't happy financially backing the campaign. "The day Lindsay appeared on the front page of the newspaper crashed out in the front seat of the SUV, the Japanese informed Ron Curtis they no longer wanted to be involved. And they are the ones who financed the campaign."
However, CEO Ron Curtis insists the campaign will still run internationally as scheduled. This whole situation is quite puzzling, especially considering the almost insignificant blow Kate Moss' career took after her cocaine scandal. Granted, Moss' career was far more successful prior to her scandal. Will Jill Stuart believe in Lindsay? Or could this ad campaign affect Jill Stuart's brand positioning?

Kate Moss For Cavalli

Kate Moss is mesmerizing in the campaign for Roberto Cavalli F/W 2007. While not normally a Moss fan, I believe this image proves Kate Moss is a true chameleon. It transcends her current image of street urchin and places her back on top of the supermodel category. The campaign is inspired by Egyptian travel. Bravo Cavalli!

Supermodel Train Wreck Part Two: Kate Moss
Looks like we aren't the first to use "train wreck" to describe supermodel turned designer Kate Moss. New York Magazine laid into Moss, calling her "annoyingly fatuous", asking her to "grow up", and even slamming her boyfriend/finance Pete Doherty with a "substance-bloated boyfriend" attack. "For God's sake, Kate, you're a mother. Grow up, preferably before your daughter."

It doesn't appear that times are too easy for Kate right now. While fans and fashionistas alike may be excited for the launch of her collaboration with Topshop, New York Magazine isn't too excited. "We don't think her fashion matches the need of the people who actually shop at Topshop." "They want high fashion for the people, not just stuff for size-0 carb-deprived specimens." To be fair Moss has recently been spotted partying with The Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto.
In other disappointing Moss news, the model was dropped off FHM's 100 sexiest women due to her escalating age. Ouch!
