Victoria Beckham may be called many things, but stupid she isn’t. Obviously the gal has media savvy and a pretty decent head on her shoulders (or at least a good stylist). Her softness will stun and amaze as you browse the photos of her in Allure magazine’s August 2008 issue.

Victoria Beckham Snaps Up Sloppy Seconds

As if the rumors flying about Victoria Beckham's possible clothing line collaboration with Jennifer Lopez or Katie Holmes weren't bad enough, it seems hiring Gwen Stefani's former designer Zaldy Cogo might just help her get her line off the ground. Cogo took the reigns solo at LAMB after previously collaborating with Stefani on past seasons. Unfortunately, after LAMB's most successful season, he and Stefani parted ways. Admittedly, I don't loathe Posh as much as I probably should, but in all fairness, it's quite easy to be fashionable when your bones are your most prominent accessory.

Celebrities In The Fashion Marketplace
WWD has ranked the top celebrity & fashion relationships, based on the number of doors which the celebrities sell in. While the list includes such pop divas such as Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonce's House Of Dereon, there are a few surprises.

Ranking #1 on the list, with 5,100 doors was teen queen Hilary Duff, riding on the success of both her With Love fragrance and Stuff By Hilary Duff. Urban labels Baby Phat, Apple Bottoms by Nelly and Rocawear by Jay-Z round out the top four, each in approximately 3,000 doors.
Mary-Kate and Ashley also make a valiant effort, coming in at #5 with 3,000 doors. The number of retail locations drops significantly at #6 with G-Unit by 50 cent selling at only 1,110 locations. The rest of the lines sell at 1,000 doors and less, with House of Dereon at #7, Daisy Fuentes by Daisy Fuentes at #8, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani at #9, William Rast by Justin Timberlake at #10, Edun by Bono at #11, J'Aime by Jaime Pressly, and JLO by Jennifer Lopez coming in at #12.
The celebrity-turned designer craze isn't over - even if the market is oversaturated. Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly has signed a lingerie deal with Ultimo, Paris Hilton has an apparel line ready to launch for back-to-school, plus Sienna Miller and Salma Hayek's collaborations with their sisters, not to mention swirling rumors of Naomi Campbell, Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes-Cruise, and yet another Jennifer Lopez line.
Are there any celebrities you wish would put out a line? Any you wish would stop?

But, could you look her in the eyes if you wanted to?

Victoria Beckham recently styled Katie Holmes for a magazine shoot. Since we're talking about Posh, we know the drama doesn't end there. Victoria apparently told a 300 plus person crew that they were not allowed to look either her or Katie in the eye. Is she kidding? Has she become medusa?
Quick Hits: Wintour To Walters; Zoe Can Write?
--Barbara Walters has interviewed Vogue editrix Anna Wintour as part of her "10 Most Fascinating People" special airing on December 12 on ABC. While the official ranking has yet to be released, Wintour joins the likes of Andre Agassi, Patrick Dempsey and Terry Irwin.
--Hearst Publications seems to be having a difficult time filling those shoes Atoosa Rubenstein left vacant. Names thrown into the hat include Didi Gluck (Marie Claire beauty editor), Alyssa Vitrano, Tina Wells, and Amy Goldwasser. Canidates are being considered from both inside and out of Hearst.
--Amy Poehler adresses an open letter to Britney Spears on Saturday Night Live. Can I please reiterate my previous statement: Stop the panty flashing madness. Please. Heck, I think we'd be better off if they were at least wearing panties!
--Apparently Rachel Zoe has managed to snag a book deal. I guess her fashion wisdom will be disguised as how-tos such as "How To Look Like A Zombie", "How To Look Like A 70's Crack Whore", and "How To Stay Thin." Perhaps it will be a best seller?
--The British are coming! Victoria Beckham has been spotted house hunting in LA-LA land. In other news, Janet Jackson attempts her best Victoria Beckham impression on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet.
