Lindsay Lohan has had it rough lately. From all the rumors swirling about her personal life, her supposed early exit from Ugly Betty, and even the comments about her line of leggings, the girl can't seem to catch a break. Fortunately, she looks amazing in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar.

Island Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from her home in the Virgin Islands, Jules Smith knows how to create luxe resort jewelry. Smith crafts inspired pieces using precious metals combined with precious and semi-precious gemstones. We love the 3" Chain Of Command Earrings, in gold and silver, available at ShopBop for $161. Perfect paired with a binki poolside or pointy toe pumps for a night on the town, these stunners are versatile.
Jules Smith isn't a ones trick pony -- proven by great design married with quality craftsmanship, her jewelry is a must see. Be sure to check out the Ursula's Garden necklace ($295), featuring a 3" octopus on a 34" sterling silver chain. The Jules Smith online store features more items, including unique rings and bracelets.
We're not the only one falling in love with Jules Smith -- celebrity clients include Cameron Diaz, Nelly Furtado, Drew Barrymore, Lindsay Lohan, Angelina Jolie, and Eva Longoria.
Jill Stuart Upset Over Lohan Rehab

Poor young Hollywood. Things don't seem to be going their way these days. Lindsay Lohan shot a campaign for Jill Stuart in Japan, but after her recent antics coupled with a trip to rehab, the Japanese aren't happy financially backing the campaign. "The day Lindsay appeared on the front page of the newspaper crashed out in the front seat of the SUV, the Japanese informed Ron Curtis they no longer wanted to be involved. And they are the ones who financed the campaign."
However, CEO Ron Curtis insists the campaign will still run internationally as scheduled. This whole situation is quite puzzling, especially considering the almost insignificant blow Kate Moss' career took after her cocaine scandal. Granted, Moss' career was far more successful prior to her scandal. Will Jill Stuart believe in Lindsay? Or could this ad campaign affect Jill Stuart's brand positioning?

Lindsay Lohan For Jill Stuart
As previously reported, Lindsay Lohan is the latest face of Jill Stuart. Whatever your personal feelings about the star, support and well wishes are needed as she goes through this difficult time. However, one can't help but wonder Top Model style if Lindsay can give more than one face. The image with the handbag looks like nothing more than a typical pop tart Rolling Stone cover, and her face in the other two look quite similar to her latest Radar Magazine photo shoot. Let's hope for Jill Stuart's sake the ads are successful.

The Costume Institute Gala

The couture parade is back in town -- and I don't mean the collection shows. The 2007 Costume Institute Gala, celebrating the Paul Poiret exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will take place on Monday, May 6 at the Metropolitan Opera House. Those expected to walk the glamorous red carpet include Julianne Moore with Stefano Pilati, Jennifer Lopez, Cate Blanchett with Nicolas Ghesquiere, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen with Giambatista Valli, as well as Jennifer Garner, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Bosworth, Kate Hudson, Lindsay Lohan, Liv Tyler, Emily Blunt and Jennifer Hudson. Of course you can expect a swell turnout of models, designers and socialites as well. Don't remember how extravagant last year's event was? Review the coverage at Style.com.
Jennifer Lopez Named Best Dressed

Celebrity magazine, US Weekly, has named Jennifer Lopez their Style Icon Of The Year, and we're inclined to agree. Us Weekly is taking the honor seriously, holding an awards ceremony on April 26. However, they can't be taking it too seriously, as Rose McGowan, Lindsay Lohan and odd couple Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz were also on the list.
Celebrities In The Fashion Marketplace
WWD has ranked the top celebrity & fashion relationships, based on the number of doors which the celebrities sell in. While the list includes such pop divas such as Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonce's House Of Dereon, there are a few surprises.

Ranking #1 on the list, with 5,100 doors was teen queen Hilary Duff, riding on the success of both her With Love fragrance and Stuff By Hilary Duff. Urban labels Baby Phat, Apple Bottoms by Nelly and Rocawear by Jay-Z round out the top four, each in approximately 3,000 doors.
Mary-Kate and Ashley also make a valiant effort, coming in at #5 with 3,000 doors. The number of retail locations drops significantly at #6 with G-Unit by 50 cent selling at only 1,110 locations. The rest of the lines sell at 1,000 doors and less, with House of Dereon at #7, Daisy Fuentes by Daisy Fuentes at #8, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani at #9, William Rast by Justin Timberlake at #10, Edun by Bono at #11, J'Aime by Jaime Pressly, and JLO by Jennifer Lopez coming in at #12.
The celebrity-turned designer craze isn't over - even if the market is oversaturated. Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly has signed a lingerie deal with Ultimo, Paris Hilton has an apparel line ready to launch for back-to-school, plus Sienna Miller and Salma Hayek's collaborations with their sisters, not to mention swirling rumors of Naomi Campbell, Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes-Cruise, and yet another Jennifer Lopez line.
Are there any celebrities you wish would put out a line? Any you wish would stop?
