Every May, I look forward to being surrounded by other people who share my passion.  That's right dear readers, it's almost time for The Makeup Show NYC!

The Makeup Show is a great opportunity to not only learn about upcoming color collections from brands you are already aware of, but learn about upcoming or niche brands that might not have been on your radar.  It's fantastic to see well respected artists mingling amongst fans and other industry professionals, as well as creative brands showing off products at the height of their intended use.

This year's The Makeup Show NYC will be held from May 17-18 at The Metropolitan Pavilion.  For a complete list of exhibitors, click here.  Noteable attendees include Dany Sanz (founder of Make Up For Ever), and Davis Factor (grandson of Max Factor and founder of Smashbox Cosmetics).  Additionally, Gordon Espinet, the Executive Director of MAC Cosmetics will deliver the show's keynote address. Advance tickets are $45 and $70 (for a 2 day pass), or available at the door for $65 and $85 respectively.
