Although the New York City heat/humidity is melting the makeup off my face the instant I step outside, there is something to be said for looking ahead - towards Fall, that is.

I always say that I look better in the Fall. I love wearing layers, playing with proportions and not having to wonder if my outfit du jour is going to make me feel like I'm suffocating beneath Saran wrap. Rather unfortunately, the fashion retail cycle has brands already shipping Fall merchandise, with some of my favorite styles inevitably hitting shelves much earlier than I'd like to think about them.

This season, I've vowed to keep on the lookout for pieces that I truly love, no matter the season. After all, true love doesn't fade simply because you spotted it 6 weeks early, does it?

Enter La Redoute's Sculpture Dress, available from One Stop Plus for $69.99. I can't get this taupey-grey fabric out of my mind, not to mention the volume play happening in the sleeves with a wrap-cinched waist. If I don't order this dress soon, I'll be kicking myself faster than you can say September.
