Within a span of three weeks, I will have been in San Diego, NYC, Chicago and back to NYC - that's quite a change in climate. San Diego had the sun and the beach, but they also had zero humidity and tons of wind. NYC is always confused - it can be cold in the morning, blistering in the evening and decide to rain at midnight. For Chicago, I'm not sure what to expect yet (I arrive on Thursday), but Weather.com tells me it's going to rain practically the whole time.
In NYC when it rains, I generally wear ankle booties or wear my Chucks ironically with a dress, but being in a different city, meeting amazing bloggers I don't yet know, is creating quite the challenge. Obviously, I want to look amazing.
My problem could easily be solved my packing tights and bringing my rock'n'roll style, but is it too late to wear tights? It's practically May, afterall. Dina, from Eye4Style, believes that I can wear lighterweight hoisery and/or color, while Eileen, from Miss Whoever You Are, feels that tights are acceptable in the rain.
How do you feel about tights? When is too late to wear tights? Should I wear them in the rain? Share your thoughts, pretty please?
