Roll With This: Eye Rule

I'm 26 years old - once I passed 24, I began to seriously think about aging and what I wanted my face to look like as it aged. Obviously, the one part of Hollywood that still captivates me is the flawless skin, no matter how many plastic surgery stories there are. I hope through adequate prevention and maintenance, I can age somewhat as gracefully, naturally.

My eye area is my biggest area of concern. I already have predominant dark circles and I am plagued with bad eyesight. I fear the constant need to squint while I'm without my glasses will wreak havoc on the fine lines & wrinkles surrounding my eyes. I am always on the lookout for a good eye cream that moisturizes without leaving me greasy, as well as simply feels like it's working.

Needless to say, I don't often find a product that meets all of these requirements. Earlier this Winter, I had the opportunity to try Sampar Paris' Eye Rule, a rollerball eye cream that targets fine lines, dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Initially, I wasn't sure if the product was as miraculous as the pitch I received claimed it to be. The rollerball felt a little gimmicky, similar to other products in the marketplace that hadn't delivered. After putting it off for a few weeks, I finally gave in - I tried Eye Rule.

Fast forward to a couple of months later - I use it every morning & (sadly) I've nearly run out of product. While I don't have the fine lines it claims to target, I can speak to the bags, dark circles and moisturizing properties. Admittedly, I've fallen in love with this product. The rollerball applicator offers a cooling effect that immediately reduces the puffiness beneath your eyes. One click of the pen and you've received enough product to moisturize both eyes. Rolling the product across your skin in a figure-8 motion helps to move your skin higher, instead of pulling it down during application. My favorite aspect of Eye Rule? After I put it on, I can feel a subtle tingle that lets me know that it's working.

How I use it: In the morning, after toning my face, I apply Eye Rule prior to my serum & let it sink it. It is a fairly heavy eye cream, so I like to give it enough time to sink in. After I've applied my moisturizer & primer, if any of the product has not been absorbed, I simply rub it in with my finger.

To purchase the Sampar Paris Eye Rule, please visit the Sampar official site for a retailer in your area. Eye Rule retails for $78.
