Rarely do I get caught up in New York's crazy fast pace. Someone is always running up or down the stairs to catch a train, putting their makeup on during the morning commute or even stuffing their face while rushing to the next location. Yesterday, while in Grand Central to meet a friend, I finally felt the mania. Grand Central Station is the one place in New York that can make me feel as if I just arrived in the city - I don't know which way is up, down, east, or west. I become completely overwhelmed by the insane amounts of people and tunnels. The "rat race" truly exists within the building.
You may be wondering why I thought it was a good idea to conquer Grand Central Station during rush hour....trust me, I even wondered myself. I was on my way to see the ladies from Ginger + Liz, as they celebrated their Fall collection at the Carol's Daughter flagship boutique. Stay tuned for a Nail Of The Week part 2 - the color I'm currently wearing is certainly worthy of the spotlight.
