Lipstick That Makes Your Soul As Pretty As Your Pout

For those of us all consumed with the Holiday rush, December 1st might feel like one day closer to Christmas.  For those living with HIV and AIDS, it's another day living with a disease.

Today is World AIDS Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of the destruction the HIV virus has caused, affecting an estimated 32 million people (2007's numbers, no less).  The theme for 2009's awareness campaign is Universal Access & Human Rights.  HIV & AIDS does not affect only one segment of the population, one race or one gender.  In 2007, 270,00 of the lives claimed by HIV & AIDS were children.

Obviously by reading this post, you are interested in fashion & beauty. If you are unable to contribute your time to volunteering today or contributing your power by spreading awareness for this global crisis, contribute your money by purchasing a Viva Glam product from MAC Cosmetics.

Why should you purchase a lipstick?  100% of the SELLING PRICE of every Viva Glam lipstick, lip gloss or lip palette goes to the MAC AIDS Fund. Since it's inception in 1994, the MAC AIDS Fund has donated over $135 million to AIDS programs globally. Can you think of a better way to spend $14 today?

To contribute to the MAC AIDS Fund, visit MACCosmetics.com to choose one of Viva Glam's 6 stunning shades.  Help MAC make a difference in the lives of those affected by HIV & AIDS today.

PS - Don't forget, Lady Gaga & Cyndi Lauper will be lending their faces & support to the MAC AIDS Fund starting March 18, 2010.
