As I've discussed with you at length this week, my hair is quite tempermental. It's fine, flat and can sometimes lack moisture if I've been abusing it with styling tools. I tend to stick to volumizing hair sprays, mousse and root lifters when it comes to styling products. Anything else just makes me nervous.
You can imagine how nervous I felt when I received Redken's latest product, Aerate 08 bodifying cream-mousse. When you first open the tub, you're greeted with a fresh laundry scent and what appears to be a cream/gel product. I honestly didn't know what to make of it. When I dipped my fingers into the product, I realized it was more like whipped cream cheese than regular cream cheese. There was a distinct whipped texture and when I rubbed the product between my fingers it left a tacky residue.
Aerate 08 is designed to be used in your hair prior to blowdrying. I like to get a small dime sized amount and rub it between my hands before rubbing it into the my roots. Any excess I rub throughout the rest of my hair. It's important to remember that this product is specifically designed to be used alongside a blowdryer.
Redken Aerate 08 can be found in professional salons wherever Redken products are sold.
