The Empress Has No Clothes

How would you feel if your size was removed from your favorite store because there wasn't enough selling space on the floor? Or what about one of the few designer lines you could actually fit into being discontinued? It's happening to women who wear size 12+ nationwide. As if we didn't feel ostracized enough, now we're being forced to shop online because retailers stopped valuing our patronage.

If a brand takes your favorite line or size online only, how does it make you feel?

I don't like shopping online - I'm a big fan of going to the store, trying something on, dancing around in front of a million huge mirrors and then spending money.
I'm a size 12 and generally don't find anything.
On top of that - I'm always trying to get my bigger friends to go shop with me and they won't.
Why?
Because stores don't carry clothing in their size.

The cream of the cake:
I took some of my girlfriend's plus sized clothing to sell at Buffalo Exchange and Crossroads,
but they wouldn't take anything anything because it was "too big".
They told me they don't buy plus sized clothing because plus sized people don't shop there.
Well how can they if they can't find their size?

I wish I was a simple girl who was okay with trendy clothing but I'm not.
I love cute one of a find vintage pieces!
I love shopping at thrift stores!
Yet I have to kill myself at the gym just so I can go in there and
barely squeeze into the available outfits.

Ridiculous!
I can't wait till our society wakes up and smells the roses.
