September 5th marked the first day of New York Fashion Week. It's a day of getting acquainted, catching up with old friends, and trying to hit the ground running. Something always goes wrong and it's all about how you handle it.

That's why when it came time to selecting my outfit, I knew it had to be no fuss, no muss. The "Two-In-One" Tailored Jumper dress is the perfect answer - sleek, tailored and easy to wear. It added the perfect power woman meets Mad Men aspect I was looking for. I even received my first compliment ever at NYFW.

The Spring Is In The Air bracelet I wore from Amanda Jaron isn't quite the one pictured - mine was with darker pearl beads. It was the most amazing statement piece. I worshipped the Croco Bag from Silhouettes. It let me carry around 2 cameras, miscellaneous electronic accessories plus a spare pair of shoes.
